I thought the Hawker Fury was a direct design result o fthe examination
of a captured Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-3 that erroneously landed at one of
your bases in 1942?

Although not as philosophical as some of the other posts this morning.
(or
afternoon depending where you are)

Did you know that....

The Hawker Fury a very famous British Biplane of the 30's (briefly
serving
in WW2) was such a good airplane that many variants were developed and
bought by the RAF. Some of these are the Audax and a whole slew of
others.
(tropicalised, sold to South Africa etc.) Interestingly enough there
were
two variants the Nimrod and Hartebeast that were powered by the Rolls
Royce
Kestrel VFP engine. Know you know that had to be some some of
airplane!!!

Everyone have a GREAT Weekend!
