Yes, I've seen him making the rounds of the talk shows, and frankly he was not terribly persuasive. If you make a claim that such a large movement of cargo was able to be made completely undetected while we were constantly surveying Iraq via satellite and arial means, you better be able to prove it.

Of course. And found some evidence that these were actually giant lollipop factories. That doesn't mean I'm right; I need to actually produce the proof.

I don't think there's enough beer to make me act in a way that you might deem reasonable! ;-)

He was; we know that since we were the ones who originally set him up and sold him the material and equipment. But I also know that since the first Gulf War, Iraq suffered a great deal under UN sanctions, and while Saddam may have dreamt of doing those things, it would have been nearly impossible for him to carry out such plans, given the situation. I also know that while we're out to make Saddam into the bogeyman, many other countries were doing exactly the same thing we're accusing Saddam of wanting to do.
