Speaking of LAMP... check this out: http://dev.personnelware.com/carl/temp/Mar31/a/Ubuntu-server.png
push a button, get a LAMP box.
If you are wondering about the "Live CD" thing, it is pretty simple: Get the free vmware player: http://www.vmware.com/products/player/ Get the 'live cd booter' from http://www.vmwarez.com/2006/02/livecd-player-virtual-machine.html
Realize that there any bootable CD image will boot, so grab a Ubuntu-Server cd image: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/daily/current/
link to it (better than renaming) $ ln -sf ~/ubuntu/desktop/dapper-install-i386.iso livecd.iso
and fire away: $ vmplayer vmwarez.com-Generic-LiveCD-Virtual-Machine.vmx
Then use your favorite screen grabber - I like GIMP's
I think I will try to hook up VNC and see if I can make a movie.
