place my comments. For the record, however, as a matter of respect for
Lynda I was referring to techie related matters when saying I do not have to
beg for anything. I see how one could infer an alternate understanding as I
did not take the time to craft a more explicit statement. I guess in my
innocence <G> I overlooked the need to do so just to make certain my message
was not obscured by a reader. Shame on me for creating a sentence that
allowed you to wander off course <G>! heh-heh...
Actually, come to think of it, there is one thing I had to beg for with
Lynda at times. A Baskin-Robbins ice cream location co-located with a
Dunkin Donuts out in our neck of the woods about 3 years ago. Any time we
went out for dinner, or anywhere else in its proximate area, I would begin
to whimper quietly, then increasingly whine until she succumbed just to shut
me up! Tragically, as of 1/1/2006 the store removed the ice cream part of
the business due to inadequate revenues. I had taken the time, upon hearing
of its impending demise, to see if the franchisee would reconsider if I
increased my consumption. No dice, the process of dismantling was done. I
offered to buy out all of their chocolate flavors, but was told they already
moved it to their other store, near Ed's home of all places! Damn!! Why
does HE get all the good stuff in his neck of the woods?!? Perhaps if I had
purchased an Apple system things would have been different...
