We've been having some intermittent problems with a server (FC4) doing
some odd things, such as just locking up and once possibly just
spontaneously rebooting (though another cause may be to blame)...

Looking at replacing the power supply on the recommendation of our
vendor. I've already swapped out the power cord and I know the UPS works
due to a power blip just last Friday....

I'm curious if folks around here have seen problems like this clear up
with a power supply replacement?

The thing isn't terribly expensive and I can do the work myself... I
expect folks to say they've done the replacement as a precaution or
obvious failure, but if someone pipes up with "it cured a world of ills"
I'll probably proceed with the change...
