This is one of two things:
1) People think heterosexual serial monogamy is more "moral" than homosexual
monogamy.
2) People think that if you do something "immoral" it is OK as long as
nobody knows about it.
Note: Reason #2 is why we have such a high abortion rate. It is also the
reason the Bush administration got so huffy about the reports of illegal
wiretaps.
