Not quite. I am suggesting that anyone who bought the argument that the presence of WMD in Iraq justified an immediate invasion would also have to support the immediate invasion of Syria if they were "proven" to be there. By "proven", I mean that the same level of evidence that was used in the Iraq situation.
I didn't believe that the evidence was sufficient in 2002, so it's not me we're talking about here. We're talking about everyone who backed the invasion of Iraq, from the NY Times to NY Post.
