Lets assume that you are correct and that we do know where these wmd's are at and that they are in syria.
Are you suggesting that we go into syria and get them just like we thought we were doing in Iraq ?
What would happen if we were wrong ?
Yet from what I'm hearing, you are suggesting exactly that .
As for military intelligence, I did my time and I find that for the majority they are quite capable. You seem to forget that military intelligence is similar to the ceo's of IBM, ORACLE and Microsoft trying to formulate their plans based on what they THINK the other is doing, because they do not know what the other is doing.
In any event, it is a best guess scenario, whether it be military or commercial and anybody that posture's otherwise has been at the bar way too long today.

Brilliant. Declassify that which doesn't show anything conclusively, but 3 years and thousands of lives later, we're still holding on to those classified photos that would have enabled us to get the WMD we went into Iraq for in the first place.
I guess that's why "military intelligence" is the most often cited case of an oxymoron.
