Integration with Apple software for setup, configuring, etc. If he knows how to set up a WAP, this won't be critical.
It also supports Bonjour, which is the zero-config networking system formerly known as Rendezvous. Again, this advantage depends entirely on the presence of other Bonjour-aware devices.
It looks cooler than other WAPs.
Other than that, I'd go for something cheaper.
