I'm just relieved it wasn't someone of a persuasion that would cater to the Radical Religious Right wing of the Republican Party, like Pat Robertson or a Pat Robertson clone. Judge Alito may make a good supreme court justice, even though he probably will not be very progressive. I think he would at least be ture to the constitution and protective of all American's freedom sand rights to due process.
