We've started doing remote monitoring/management which monitors the network and all the machines on the network. The systems we're using also inventories everything and provides all kinds of alerts for things such as low disk space, hack attempts, virus detection and hardware failures.
The service is priced low enough for small offices and gives us an opportunity to give them proactive service before they know they need it.
I can think of several IT solution things you could do to make money if you know how to beat the bushes.
