Probably not... but it could be better. In VA we tried to bring baby
killing mills up to the standards of medical offices... but they fought
it tooth and nail, saying those safety precautions would force many
clinics out of business. Hmmmmm.... what really is their goal, safety
or preserving their businesses?

I'm sure she was correct. When you don't have a hospital, and it's
staff to
care for the woman the success % was probably not nearly as good as
today's.
