Chet,
> "subscription", what the hell does that mean?
It means $100 more out of your pocket! LMAO!
The subscription includes a full year of upgrades. The basic product with 30 days support is about $100 cheaper.
To be honest, I was a bit turned off by this distinction. But, lets face it, products like this require continual development. So if you want to benefit from that development, then a subscription makes sense. Just like changing your oil.
I was so impressed with the product that I ponied up the full $220. With no VFP 10 in sight, I said, why not take the money I would have spent on the VFP 10 upgrade and spend it on something that gives my apps what I had hoped would have been a VFP 10 type upgrade. So now I have a great OOP menu/toolbar, 2 years ahead of schedule, and I still have $100 in my pocket. Not too bad. :)
