I'm running 4.1.

I never had a problem with 3.x (but I was always using it as a client) but
one of the big reasons to upgrade was compatibility with their Dragnet, bug
tracking software (I previously had their Collab edition which wasn't very
good).

What else had really changed? Not much from what I can see.

They've got a better line differentiator and FoxPro is actually mentioned on
their File Groups (can't remember if it was in 3.x)

If you want to connect in to take a look, let me know.

Subject: [NF] SourceOffSite 4.1 experiences?

I've done a lot of consulting work in the past decade on SourceSafe.
From basic setups to rescues, some intricate integration, COM automation,
and Project Manager integration, been there, done that, wrote the book. In
the past couple of years, I've successfully installed, configured and
maintained several clients with SourceOffSite in-house, intranet, extranet
and with/without encryption, keys, all that jazz. The "classic"
SourceOffSite server was 3.x, currently locked down at 3.5.3. The "new" SoS
server is version 4.1, which is an entirely new rewrite in some .NET
language.
All of my experience is with the 3.x version. Anyone installed the
4.1 version and have words of wisdom to share? Positive/negative
experiences. Gotchas to look out for? Reasons to upgrade?
