When you say your computer disconnected do you mean you logged off or did something go wrong?

I have an application that has a free table open on a network and is not shared. My computer disconnected from the network and when I reconnected, the file is still open and I can't access it. Is there a way to force closing this file. In the mean time I am going to modify the code so this won't happen again.
TIA
Jeff
