Actually the terms have developed more precise meaning as the negative connotations are the result of the failure of the left to produce. Whenever a grandiose program fails, the common refrain is we didn't provide enough funds for it.
I'm sorry to say that if we took some of your other postings seriously we would believe, as you do, that we are too ignorant, foolish and incompetent to convince people of the failure of the left.

You talk in terms of left versus right, Republican versus Democrat, Liberal versus Conservative, but these term have lost there meaning through a never ending procession of labeling and erroneously defining the Republican's opponents. I think a more relevant divider for today's
politics would be whether one was pro Theocracy or Pro Democracy. This has more to do with the political struggle today, than the old fashioned
left/right labeling.
