The TDI uses a speical synthic oil that doesn't break down, even under the high heat produced by the TDI diesel engine. I have to pay a premiem for the oil. If Sterling VW used the standard VW gasoline engine oil, I would cause serious problems. I'll check the forum to see if anyone can tell me if Sterling Volkswagen has a good TDI service department.
