I watched the oil change video again. The oil change seem pretty
straight forward. I went out and took a look at my TDI engine to become
oriented where everything was located, and I comfortable that I could do
an oil change when the time come; although, I may let the Sterling
Volkswagen handle it. Sterling Volkswagen is just about one mile from
my house, so it would be very convenient. The first and second oil
change is due at 5,000 miles intervals with oil changes at 10,000 miles
interval there after through the warranty period. I would have to look
at my VW manaul, but I'm thinking the oil changes then goes to 20,000
miles intervals.

I would certainly want to take the VW in when it's time to change the
timing belt; which occurs every 85000 to 100,000 miles interval and
costs between $500 to $700 for that service cycle. The big question is
how thourouh is Sterling Volkswagon in servicing the TDI.

There are also videos for changing the timing belt and other things;
although, that would be more than I would be confortable with.
