Hi Stanley!
Ah, sweeping generalization accompanied by a jump to a conclusion! Yes, some are "undeserving" BUT some are disabled, aged or just victims of the "world economy". Why do some of us feel such a need to lump them all together? You need to work a couple of years as a social worker to get the broad picture.

We have tried. What resulted from our trying is the present system. The lawmakers "stole" it. Why won't the private sector managers steal it as well? No matter how we do it, the retirement of the aged will always fall upon the people who are working while the retirees are retired. The next generation will have a lot of retirees to each worker. The culprit is as much Roe vs. Wade as it is the depleted trust fund, which will always be depleted no matter how it is administered. That much money will always be borrowed, stolen, dissipated by inflation, whatever.

Yes, you too, open your mind as well <s>

Same as welfare. Yes, some are lazy, others have been hit with some sort of disaster and legitimately need help. Why is it so hard for the greatest country in the world to be generous?
