<g> I wish. this whole thing is an interesting mess. A friend of mine
bought a restaurant. The former owner was a geek-wannabe. All of his
systems were half - uh - designed. The point-of-sale system was
designed for pizza joints. It was built in Access, and totally
inadequate for a sit-down restaurant. He has a totally separate
database that runs their Web site. A separate Web database runs the
email membership list. All of these systems use the same customer
information, but keeping them coordinated, well, he didn't, mostly. I
am writing a program to do that, plus add some capability to their
overall mix.
