Oh I see what you mean now. Hmmm... You might have trouble doing that without some additional software.
I used to do something similar a long time ago when I operated a Fidonet bulletin board. I had a couple of small .COM programs that constructed the filename in a similar fashion and piped that through a batch file. I'll see if I still have them in an archive somewhere.
