Hi Alan!
Not so sure a convicted felon can run for the Senate? Not specifically
forbidden by the constitution but in practice unlikely. Not impossible
but . . .
It is a partisan office and he/she has to have a party support him/her
which most likely would not happen. If by magic he/she were elected the
Senate rules or ethics committee might balk at seating him/her.
