Actually, as wOOdy has often scolded me, er I mean reminded me, VFP has been shipping with these capabilities (web, email) for awhile. Check out the FFC classes, Solution Samples, and XSOURCE.ZIP source code to all the VFP components built in VFP itself. Many of these components go back to VFP 6 I believe.
If you have VFP 9, the set of additional capabilities should be pretty amazing. And best of all, not only do you get the components themselves, but you also get the complete source.
