Come on now... there's no risk to their positions. The 'Hollywood
elites' live in cocoon that led them to believe real people thought that
way too. That's why they were so shocked that their golden
pronouncements did not win the election for the Ds.

All I can say is 'Keep on spouting this crap and it will give us the 60%
majority in the Senate".

Okay, so you're claiming they made money off their stands, with it seems
the suggestion that is why they did it. I don't know that to be true or
false, but I do think that talented people don't have much trouble
making money in the first place, so I would wonder why they would take
on such a risky enterprise to make still more money. My *feeling* is
that they spoke out because they *felt* they needed to.

I'll give them some credit from another angle: they are public figures.
There are some pretty radical people out there, on both sides, including
a few who would cause harm to a public figure they vehemently disagree
with. Since the warmongers are already inclined to war, it's easy to
imagine some to be very hostile people. These acters/public figures know
that, but took their stand anyway. I think that took a fair amount of
courage, since they could have avoided all the controversy and just
continued making and enjoying the money they were already used to.

BTW, I don't follow the opinions of the people you mentioned, except I
did see Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 movie and I thought it interesting and
very informative about the Saudi connection, but I don't know about the
others.
