Sometimes things really ARE personal. At those times about all we can do is to admit it is reasonable that some people aren't going to want to keep us around, and that we should go somewhere else where they do. Whether the intent is personal harm or not, and whether we are paranoid for cause or not, life can and should go on.
As time goes on I do realize more and more that most people have their own problems to worry about and they don't think much about me either for ill or for good. And why should they?
Business is just business. Let's deliver good value for the dollar, and align ourselves with those that deliver good dollar for the value.
I have spent 5 months surrounded by mud, camped on a parcel of land that only this year we finally have the ability to build our home. And just when I think I have it rough and start feeling a little sorry for myself, another news report airs about a family that just lost their home in a mudslide -- with no insurance.
There are no guarantees.
