In some previous Oracle and MS SQL Server projects (in 1998 or so) I used SPT as well with VFP, and was always pleased with the results. As tempting as it is to use CursorAdapter with the migration of a few of my commercial apps from a VFP back end to MySQL (for scalability, internal security & ability to run over a thin-net backbone), I have remembered enough about Ed's experience to help me accept the need rewrite with SPT.
