Republican != Conservative
Fiscal beliefs:
Republican - Tax little, small government, stay out of my life
Democrat - Tax a lot, big government, redistribute your wealth to others
Moral beliefs:
Conservative - more traditional, right/wrong, hetrosexual is the only right way, often religious
Liberal - more 'open minded', relative truth(no right/wrong), forces 'diversity' on you, accept everyone and everything for what they are(gays, etc.),
Republicans are often conservatives, and Democrats are often liberal, but that doesn't make it a rule. Personally, I see myself as a Republican moderate(between Conservative and Liberal). I now resent being call conservative, even though I used to be...
