Hi Virgil,
A soldier who votes against President Bush in November, many find himself locked away as an enemy combatant a year from now, should President Bush be elected a second term.
The moderate vote the Bush convention is seeking today, may find itself locked in prison a year from today for having an abortion or for being gay. I couldn't be more serious. The Republican Right has become way extreme, and will without doubt become even more so with increased powers.

Come on leland, you just said in a previous post that you were in the military.
I'm sure that they are probably using some type of html form to pick and choose with a submit button. It really is no different then them filling out a form and mailing it, and a lot quicker.
NOW, if there are no checks and balances on this end to verify no duplication of ssn's, etc., then I could possibly see a problem, but without understanding the complete path from beginning to end, NONE of us are in a position to say what is happening.

Hi Rich,
Well, if the soldiers are forwarding thier vote to President Bush, their commander and chief, in a non-secret ballot, you don't see a problem of intemidation? HaHaahaa

I saw this on Slashdot. I still don't see the difference between email and fax (They can already fax their ballots).
