My rule of thumb for those who work for me is if you can't figure it out in
an hour, try something else or ask for help. Well after several days of
trying to figure out this issue and posting to different sites I finally
decided to take my own advice and try something else.

I did a different search looking for service utility software and found
Servicemill and Service+ at www.activeplus.com. I downloaded a 30 day trial
and within minutes I had loaded my VFP exe as a service and configure it to
run with interactive desktop and user credentials. Bingo! The service has
been running like a champ all day now whether there is a user logged in or
not; just like it ran as a stand alone exe: exactly what I was looking for.
I will let it run for a week or so just to be certain and then purchase a
license.

What is it that people are always saying about that stupid wheel design
thing again? I keep forgetting...

Thanks for the input.
