WHOA! Stop right there! Whoever wrote this is clueless, period! Commanding Officers would never knowingly allow anything even closely resembling coercion. Absentee voting is taken extremely seriously in the military. Every single unit assigns a junior officer as the voting officer. Getting people to vote is his job. He is also responsible for ensuring the secrecy of every individual ballot.
This yea-hoo is forgetting the fact that absentee ballots have traditionally been sent through the USPS. How secure is that?
