Actually michael, you would be surprised.
I'm probably the only one in my whole family that broke the 40,000 barrier,
let alone the 140,000 barrier <grin>

There is a whole world out there that makes less than 40,000 with both
partners working and they have raised and supported a family on it.

If that's not poverty, I don't know what is, but you wouldn't hear them
think of themselves in that way.

We get so used to our "narrow" perception of reality because we live in a
area of like minded people who tend to go to the same areas that other like
minded people go too.

Get out sometime and ask that pretty veternarian or the local county clerk
what they make for a living. Believe me, you will be surprised <grin>

By the way, I'm not saying we shouldn't try to do better as I'm very
motivated when it comes to bettering my situation. Its just that I have also
learned that the best things in life are not things.
