The ODBC link is available without the developers licence and the install for it is in the odbc32 folder within the installation. The link without the developers licence is one way (read only). Although line 50 can import certain stuff, I have a guide of some sort somewhere, you want me to dig it out ?
Chris.

Sorry all for forgetting to include a Subject
Hi Dave
I am not to worried as the Client is not happy with Sage and would consider changing to another accounts system. What does worry Her is whether she can transfer the existing data without to much hassle. I understand that the data can be exported as a CSV file and I would have no problems dealing with that.
However a quicker and better solution would be to use VFP with an ODBC connection to the LINE 50 data. No learning curve for the client and I only have to write the POS software to interface with it. I only need to pull off the stock details and the Customer Codes etc and then update Line50 once a day.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
