I think I'd volunteer to go door to door, and offer to drive people on
buses to polling stations, and maybe even part with more money (to RNC
and BC04), if she's the VP.

I personally don't think they'll do it. Unless the calculation is that
Bush really is beatable this year... And if they did win -- heaven
forbid -- I'd be extra careful on those ski slopes if I were President
Kerry... ;)

I think they're taking their own propaganda too seriously though. For
all the crap they've flung at the President and Vice President, they
just can't seem to eke out any kind of meaningful lead for Kerry. And
the economy's getting better, and I think Hillary is not going to nab
the independents Kerry needs. It'll jazz the loons on the far left,
especially after Hillary's revealing statement yesterday in SF.

Kerry is vain and wrongheaded, but he isn't stupid. I still bet it'll be
Edwards. But I'll be happy to be proven wrong. Actually, I'm kinda
pulling for Hillary, although to be honest the prudent side of me says
"Anybody but her... God please, anybody but her."

IF Kerry does cut off his nose to spite his face and pick her, Bush
should consider easing Cheney off and replace him with Powell or Condi.
Either one of them could easily waste Hillary in a debate. I'd rather
not risk an FU incident in the VP debate, however gratifying it would be
to hear.
