Newer Ethernet *switches* are rated 10/100/1000 Mbps and should connect to
each card at the maximum speed the card can handle. Something like the
LinkSys EG005W,

selling for $75 - $120 and gives you 5 ports. Hang one off your existing
network and connect up to 4 machines you want on the fast leg of the
network.
