Kris makes a good point re: the issues I ran into being more specific to Best Buy than with Service Agreements in general. And I do agree re: getting them for expensive items. I deem a laptop of the configuration I need to be relatively expensive. If not in terms of actual investment amount, at least in terms of use value in the event I must try to do without a decent machine.
