Hi Catherine,

If your table is currently selected (sounds like it is) you can use the
"USE" command without any parms.

* this will close the currently selected table
USE

I know - this is not - by any imagination - intuitive.

Malcolm

Subject: Simple Question

... or so I fondly believe.

I have written a very simple form to maintain a FoxPro table. My form
runs within a COTS package I support, with the executable invoked from
the
COTS menu process. I want to close the table after it's been updated,
upon exit from my form, but I don't want to close all tables, just that
one. CLOSE doesn't support one table at a time (and why not, I wonder).
What's the command to close one table?
