At PyCon, the guy giving the Mac session stressed that you should use
the Python 2.3 that ships with Panther, and not use the regular 2.3.3
release. I forgot all the reasons, but there are some things that are
specific to the OS X directory structure and utilities that is missing
in 2.3.3.
