| The UN is a direction, a concept, not a paragon of anything in it's
| present condition. But we still have a choice between fixing what's wrong
| with it - or continuing to denigrate it as we fall back into becoming
| Fortress America.
I'm for fixing our problems at home, and kicking the U.N. out.

| With each passing day, the morass of our invasion of the ME gets worse. I
| suppose at this point there are a lot of people who think we're so far
| beyond taking the UN approach that it's just a distant memory, but it's
| not too late. We can still fix it.
Let's fix our Republic. Then things like foreign adventurism will be much
harder for our politicians to justify. It was primarily on behalf of UN
resolutions, and an authorization from Congress that affirmed these
resolutions, I remind you, that we invaded Iraq - even if Germany, France
and Russia did chickenshit out of it, when they realized we were serious,
and would probably discover "the truth" about their little oil-for-cover
deal with Saddam.
