The UN is a direction, a concept, not a paragon of anything in it's present condition. But we still have a choice between fixing what's wrong with it - or continuing to denigrate it as we fall back into becoming Fortress America.
With each passing day, the morass of our invasion of the ME gets worse. I suppose at this point there are a lot of people who think we're so far beyond taking the UN approach that it's just a distant memory, but it's not too late. We can still fix it.
