This is an alpha, and you should make the best decisions you can, as you may have to live with them for years.
>From my perspective, the most important issues are to get the baseline decisions (like GTK 1 vs. 2) down as clearly as possible to avoid a lot of FAQs and thrashing of fellow developers. If you guys decide to go dual-license, and release the code on something like SourceForge, you could be overwhelmed with the amount of traffic and support.
So, I'm tagging along behind the two of you, asking lots of dumb questions and screwing up my configurations so we can figure the best way to document all of this stuff and put it in a package that anyone can understand.

I had no idea that they were close enough to have an RC out. I thought 2.5 was a few months away and still changing.
