Since sexual abuse in the Catholic Church seem to be higher that
statistical norms, it suggests individuals with a predisposed sexual
attraction toward children are drawn to the priesthood, or there might
be environmental factors that aggravate the problem. I might also
suggest that individual with homosexual/child abuse urges seek refuge
within the church as an escape from themselves.

So far as I know there is no correlation between homosexuality and child
abuse. Certainly the church environment, especially as found in the
Catholic Church, provide fertile gound upon which the behavior can be
exploted.
