Hi Pete,
A recent study undertaken by the Catholic Church indicates sexual abuse of children as a percentage of a given group may be most prevalent within the Catholic Church. I would not be surprised if the same problem did not exist within the Christian Church, even within the Religious Right persuasion of religion.
Anyway, there definitely is a problem with sexual abuse of children amount Catholic Priests. The problem seem go as high as four percent of Catholic Priests have abused children.
