Yep, that's the point. He didn't know me, but he knew of my reputation
within MSFT.

I care to the extent that it affects the LA Fox UG. MSFT is certainly
not doing me any favors.

Randy burned a hole in Bernard's forehead with a look. Bernard them
backpedaled something fierce, saying something to the effect that "I was
just joking" and "This is all a big joke". The backpedaling was funnier
than the original gaffe.
