I believe your problem is that Win 2000 (and XP) start command.com in a 50+
line window. That's why it looks short in full screen.
Have the shortcut run a batch file which includes
(AT) echo off
mode con lines=25
That's what I've done, and it works fine .D.OT
NB: If you need a "files=" or something, the equivalent of CONFIG.SYS is
the file CONFIG.NT in the WINNTSYSTEM32 directory. There's also an
AUTOEXEC.NT, where you can set Environment variables for your DOS
programs. In fact, the "mode" command could go there.
