Hi people:
Does anyone know how to set Win 2K Pro up so the DVM (Dos Virtual =
Machine) behaves as under Win 98.
Specifically the command.com shortcut has to be set up to give a full =
screen, but after this is done all programs run from the command line =
are given a small form (1/3 of the full screen) to run in Win 2k.
We have a very large number of tools and still active Clipper Apps. I =
have failed to get even one of them to run under a true single user =
command line full screen, much less find the magic setting that says for =
all Apps in this DVM give them full screen treatment.
The significant difference in props win 2k to win 98 is the addition of =
a Security form. We run our in house machines as administratormanager =
(Win and O/S2), Supervisor(N/W) and Root (redhat & Samba) whether they =
are W/S or servers. Our Internet machine in not on our Lan. We copy to a =
removable hard disk only specific items we may need.
Dont believe we have any virus problems on production machines.
