Hi Bill,
I don't see what that has to do with his commitment to give away 95% of
his fortune, presumably in ways that make a real difference. I know
India is a sensitive issue, but the catastrophic situation in Africa is
a very different matter. On that subject, it just took a moment to find
"Bill Gates gives billions to Africa. World's richest man helps fight
HIV/Aids and malaria" by Claire Keeton on 9/21/03 at
http://www.suntimes.co.za/2003/09/21/news/africa/africa01.asp which
says, among other things, that "Gates, the founder of Microsoft, has
contributed more money than the US and European governments to fighting
malaria."
Pretty admirable, don't you think?
