Isn't that kind of the point of this thread. That too often religions are
twisted into a obscene copy of the original for some demented purpose or to
support a belief which can not be supported in any other manner? Islam and
Christianity have both had this happen to them throughout history.

Ok. Hold up a sec. IMO Christianity is the most 'copied' religion in the
world. All kinds of denominations and people call themselves Christian but,
in fact, are not. The above 2 are examples of such. These folks calling
themselves Christian is on par with Ed calling himself a Christian. It's
that ludicrous.
