Slightly different versions of IE
Desk: 6.00.2462
Notebook: 6.0.2600
( I wonder why one has 2 zeros, and the other only has 1 zero after the
6.0 )

Date on the c:winntsystem32mscomctrl.ocx
Desk: 12/02/98 ( I wonder why so old )
Notebook: 05/22/00

I also found that on the notebook I had not yet upgrade it to 7.0 SP1 (
Fixed that )

I'm guessing that if I upgrade the desktop's IE the problem will be fixed.
Problem is I want this treeview to work on 'most' windows computers. I see
that at least on my computers here there are two MS Tree view controls a 6.0
the c:winntsystem32mscomctrl.ocx and a 5.0 stored in the
c:winntsystem32cpmctrl32/ocx. I'm going to try getting my code to work
with the 5.0. If that works, will it work with more computers?

How do I check to make sure that the users have the correct control? Is
this one of the reasons people do not like working with activex controls?

Anthony
