Ted, do you use the VFP IDE, or run the VSS explorer?
Maybe our problems are caused by using the VFP IDE... We may try switching to the VSS Explorer first and see what happens. There are a lot of report and screen files, but the project itself isn't THAT big. Changing platforms would be a PITA, and since we're moving (slowly) out of VFP it may be hard to justify the expense to management.
... or maybe we just need to do the proper maintenance on the repository. We started using this server about 6 months ago. ;)
FWIW, most of those 'lost' changes were mine, done through the LAN inside VFP. The command window says each file was completed, and the icon in the project manager changes back to a closed lock. Sure SEEMS like the change is going it. Now I'm checking history each time I do a check-in....
