Did is use the CLR? If not, how can it be called .NET? Maybe that's why it was pulled out and never released in any .NET visual suite?
(I asked an M$ honcho at a user group meeting once whether he was there to talk to us about VFP.NET. He mumbled something about not working with "toy dev platforms" and ignored my question).

VFP was never part of .NET.
VFP used to be in VS through VS6.0.
